regentrude Posted November 26, 2015 Share Posted November 26, 2015 my absolute favorites not-to-miss courses are all courses by Elisabeth Vandiver (especially the Iliad and Odyssey ones) We also love the Middle Ages series by Philipp Daileader and the music history courses by Robert Greenberg, especially How to listen to and understand Great Music. KarenNC Posted November 26, 2015 Share Posted November 26, 2015 If you are okay with just audio, you may want to see if any of the titles you want are on audible.com. We've gotten several there for one credit each (a credit is about $16), which is cheaper than even the big sale prices at Great Courses. The high school history ones benefit from video because the teacher dresses in costume to complement the characters he assumes to discuss various historical periods.
