chocolate-chip chooky
I'm calling out for ideas of great youtube channels. My daughter (9) loves her information with a dose of humour, wherever possible. We are LOVING this youtube channel: It's Okay to be Smart. Oh my goodness, I LOVE Joe. We have watched all his videos multiple times - great level of science, great range of topics, and it's always got humour. We also watch How to Make Everything and SciShow. Anything else similar to this that you folks recommend? Not just science-related, anything.
Jackie
The website/Facebook feed called The Kid Should See This is amazing. We've gone off on so many tangents after binge-watching their videos!

desertflower
Smarter Everyday has a scientist or engineer (I can't remember) doing entertaining experiments on you tube.
Arcadia
Someone uploaded The Great Course "The Joy of Mathematics" by Arthur T. Benjamin on YouTube. My boys still laugh over the Steve Spangler videos on YouTube.
jlee
https://www.youtube.com/user/MyWhyU is a hidden gem. It introduces prealgebra and algebra In animated series and suprisingly well produced. Of course, Crashcourse https://www.youtube.com/user/crashcourse I highly recommend astronomy course currently running. and Numberphile https://www.youtube.com/user/numberphile is another good math channel.
