mom@shiloh
I've been using Sharon Watson's curriculum, Writing Fiction in High School for a co-op class that I'm teaching. We're in our 8th week and I feel as if I have had enough interaction now with the curriculum to highly recommend it. The kids seem to be enjoying the class (or at least not completely hating the class!). I find the student book easy to follow and the teacher's guide helpful. Assignments are clear and just the right amount. It was difficult to find a creative writing curriculum for high school that would work well with a co-op class, so I wanted to post for others who might be searching.
Free Indeed
My daughter is using it this year and is enjoying it. It doesn't talk down to the student, and she enjoyed the book "The Last book in the Universe" that was read. We aren't very far into it, but two thumbs up!
