fourcatmom
I am looking to buy Saxon 1/2 for my 9th grader. I have been struggling with math since the start of school. She does not typically do well with cd's and online classes, I've tried. But, I really can't help her with Math so I would love to have something in my back pocket so to speak to introduce the lessons and for when she needs help. She will be meeting with a tutor as well to go over her work and be able to get face to face explanations which is what she likes. So, if I buy the homeschool kit for Saxon 1/2, 3rd edition which cd's would be the best fit to accompany the program. I guess there is a basic teacher CD, the Dive Cd's and the Art Reed ones as well. I I have also thought of having her follow the program on VHSG as they have a self-paced class for 1/2 but I would still like a CD just for back up or to use instead of VHSG. I really wont know which will work better for us until she starts working. Any advice on those?
