AimeeM
It looks interesting... but how do you purchase it? I can find tons of info and demos, but nowhere for an individual to buy (it says it's available to schools, but I can't find anything for homeschoolers or parents). lamppost
You can buy it here. https://giftedandtalented.com/ The price is outrageous for what it is. We used it for a few months because we had an EPGY subscription and then they transitioned to Redbird. It was in need of some editing at that time, but they may have fixed the errors by now. Didn't like it, thought it was not worth anywhere near what they're charging. We do really like ST Math which is a very different kind of computer math program. Homeschool Buyers Co-op is offering it right now: https://www.homeschoolbuyersco-op.org/stmath/?source=138339

The unsupported version is under $60 for three months (Educents mailed a code to save an additional 15% off of that). Is this not a complete program? lovinmyboys
I bought it with the 15% off but we haven't started it yet. For $76.50 I got both the language arts and math for 3 mos. From my quick overview of it, I don't think it will turn out to be super overpriced, but we may end up hating it. We will try them this week and I will post about how it went. I'm pretty sure it is a complete program.
yucabird
My 7yo and 9yo have been using RB for a week, so take the following with a grain of salt. I subscribed to the program because I want a back-up that isn’t “mommy taught.†I am using RB along with Singapore. (We are going the non-tutor route. With a discount through HSBC, plus a small discount through the company, I am happy with the cost.) I like the program for my older; she is a solid reader, and she is someone who enjoys taking responsibility for her learning. She has found it challenging but not too tough. She is making very good progress. It is not “clicking†with my younger. She is a beginning reader, and though the text isn’t difficult, she must use the “read-to-me†buttons. This isn’t her style, so I have been reading the problems to her. This defeats the purpose of flying-without-mum. I am having difficulty adjusting RB to an appropriate level (There is a statement from Stanford saying that levels may need to be adjusted at the beginning, so things could change.). (She is my kiddo who didn’t have a great experience at school; self-esteem issues have improved, but her confidence-level is important to me.) I will give it a little while longer, but at the moment it is not a good fit for her. Logging-in as a parent one can see the progress a child is making. One can see what topics are covered (so review, outside the program, would be easy to implement).
OneStepAtATime
My mom got my son the subscription through HSBC for the three months. We have not yet started but intend to start tomorrow. I, too, will report back here once we have tried it out for a bit (although you may need to remind me).

We used to get both math & LA for quite a bit less than that before they changed the program. Never used the tutor-supported version so can't comment on that. CAtoVA
I've used it since last March with my (then) 1st and (now) 2nd grade DD as well as with my (then) 5th grade and (now ) 6th grade DS. My DD has only done the math but my son has been doing the combined language arts and math program. I bought the non tutor version with a discount from HSBC so it was pretty reasonable for cost. My DD is using it as a support (diversion) along with Singapore and MEP. My son is in public school so it is mainly a reinforcement, and some extension, of what he is learning in school. I have really liked the math part of the program. It can be a little tedious as there is LOTS of repetition but the problem solving is creative and substantive and keeps the kids' interest. The math definitely takes an Asian approach so it works nicely with Singapore (and would work well with RightStart math too). I have not found the language arts part of the program to be as worthwhile. It's hard to "do" writing well in the format they provide and the grammar is pretty much a basic review of what my son already knows. The literature, however, has been helpful for my son as he is somewhat weak in his understanding of fiction and story elements (he reads almost exclusively non fiction material). My subscription for my son is up in November and I will probably renew the math portion but not the language arts. I will keep the math for my DD for as long is appears to be helpful and she enjoys doing the program.
CAtoVA
Just wanted to add that Redbird is a complete LA and math program even though we use it as a supplement.
u2006kids
math is real good to validate the concepts students already learned
