The meds made ds really sleepy, so he's back in bed for a rest.

I've paid the bills and am stressing over how much it costs to live. I've been terrible with keeping up with our spending, too. Over the last few months, I've spent a lot on dd's graduation, getting her off to college, and such. Maybe I can get a handle on things now that things are slowing down.

Human care is done

Pet care is done

Medical care is done even though I had to try twice with the meds today.  (Don't ask - it wasn't pretty)

Two loads have been folded and put away.

Load #1 has been washed and is now in the dryer

Load #2 is in the washer.  It includes my swimsuit

did some research on the aquatic center we're going to tomorrow.

next:  finish cleaning the kitchen

Kitchen cleaned.

Took car to Midas - found the problem that another mechanic told me twice was not there.  Was told by Midas that the problem specifically was caused by the work the other mechanic did.  They provided me with documentation and the incorrect part after they fixed the problem for me.

Took car to the other mechanic to talk to the manager.  Showed him documentation and the incorrect part.  He agreed to reimburse me for my Midas bill but insisted that the part was not incorrect and that they had done no wrong.  His implication was that I was either lying or stupid.  Let's just say that I'm never ever going to them again.

Came home and took a nap.

Dinner is leftovers tonight.  Let them eat cake.  (Except that I have  no cake in the house. . .)

Glad your car is fixed, Jean! And that you got a nap. :)

All done for the day here. Kids are getting ready for bed.

I am too wiped out to do math or listen to lectures.

All The Light We Cannot See is on my bedside table. Haven't decided whether to start it tonight or just wander around here fro a bit. ;)
