MP Third Form Latin questions

Recommended Posts

I've found some back posts about Third Form Latin, so I know a few people have used it (although not many?).

I don't want to reinvent the wheel, so I wondered if anyone else had put together the recitation guide (like the MP First & Second Form one)?

If not, I am having issues figuring out what the TM is asking the kid to recite with some of their instructions.

For example, in Lesson 2, the recitation includes, "all irreg. p.p." which I think is all irregular principal part (verbs). Is this the do, dare, dedi, datus; sto, stare, steti, status; etc. list or something else that is longer?

In Lesson 3, the recitation includes "verb meanings (Lesson I, this manual)". Does that mean the new vocab from Lesson 1 or the verb review from 1st/2nd form?

In Lesson 7, the recitation includes this noun list with no other info:  "mensa, servus, bellum, puer, vir, ager". Does it mean that we're supposed to decline each of those model nouns or just list its genitive singular, gender, and meaning?

Sorry if these are stupid questions ... I want to have as 'open and go' of a recitation guide (like the 1st/2nd form one) as possible. (And yes, I do know there are a couple of mistakes in the 1st/2nd form one.)

Help!

Bumping.

Here's what I've done so far, but I still have most of the same questions.

I've figured out some of the ones I had, but more always pop up.

- What are we supposed to recite for "p.p. & reg. p.p endings of amo, moneo, audio"? (I put the p.p. for those three, but this seems to call for more than that?)
- In Lesson 4, it calls to recite the imperatives from Lesson III. Does that refer to the model verb imperatives? Should I say, "Love!" and they respond, "Ama! Amate!" ?

- When it says "all model verbs," does that include sum? Because I can't see where we are chanting sum yet, but I don't know that it is a 'model verb' either.
