Is Third Ed. of WTM significantly different from 1999 Ed?

I think that the logic stage section was updated for the better in the most recent edition. I have all three editions and I like that one the best. It also does a great job of redoing the history approach. Instead of focusing on what materials to use it makes it more about the process. No more getting throw into a tizzy because a Usborne decides to take a particular world history encyclopedia out of print. She does mention some specific resources, a range of them, but they are very much suggestions and not 'use this resource'.

Plus, things have changed a whole lot in the past 16 years. Publishing houses have come and gone, materials are out of print, new ones have taken their place, etc.
