SparklyUnicorn
Do these things work? I'm especially interested if it helps with allergy/sinus issues.
earthyfamily
It's always really helped us with our allergy issues. We do use three of them though, in about a 2500 square foot space. I really feel like we could use a couple more. We use Honeywell brand with cleanable filters.

His room is pretty small so I think one for his room will help. Thanks!
earthyfamily
I think everyone should have an air purifier in their room at night. Nighttime is so important to healthy bodily functions and clean air helps facilitate that....just my opinion of course.
Roadrunner
We use it at night for kids. That and dust mite protection covers for the mattress and pillows made all the difference. I also emptied the room from rugs and books.

Suzanne in ABQ
We use one in our bedroom, 24 hrs a day. It does a great job of visibly clearing the air, and the filters need to be cleaned weekly (showing just how much stuff it has cleared out of the air). Ours isn't a HEPA model, it just gets dust, cat hair and dander. Dh's nose notices if it hasn't run in a few days.
Laura Corin
We used them when we lived in polluted Hong Kong. Calvin had developed 'cough asthma'. We ran an air purifier in his bedroom overnight, and another in the living area. They worked.
