saraha
A friend and I are meeting up at a hotel in Mishawaka, Indiana for a mommy get away. We are splitting the distance between where we live and ended up here. Can you guys suggest some things for us to do within a 30 mile radius? Thanks! Guest
Walk around the ND campus? It is beautiful. Check the ND football schedule. If it is home game weekend, you need to adjust your plans.

South Bend Chocolate Company - Gourmet Chocolate ... Go to SB Chocolates Try Indulgence pastry shop for desserts You can go up to St. Joe (about 45 min) and do the beach, the carousel, and eat INSANELY good pizza (Silver Beach Pizza). There's a big B&N at the mall and I think they're getting a Whole Foods soon too. Tippy Toes is where my mother goes to get hers done. Ottakee
Shipshewana can be a lot of fun if you like Amish stuff, flea market (only 2 days a week), etc. It is a nice quiet town but if you are there on a Sunday almost EVERYTHING is closed.
