Recommended Posts

I've scoured the board and need help figuring out which of these to get for Pre-Cal

A Graphical Approach to Precalculus with Limits: A Unit Circle Approach

or

Pre Calculus

I would appreciate any guidance!

This is the one I have. I remember someone (maybe Jann in TX) saying they didn't like the graphical approach edition as well, but I haven't looked at it in person to know.

I don't know about Jann, but *I* don't like it. I really dislike the presentation of trigonometry. I found it very disjointed. Next time I teach precalculus I'm going to use her college algebra and trigonometry text.

Is the Pre Calculus (as opposed to the Pre Calculus with Limits) the one that is actually the same text as the college algebra and trig text?

I know I've read somewhere that there are two student texts that have different titles but are page for page the same and the teacher's guide has both titles.

Thanks!

The TOC are the same section-by-section but I don't have the precalc text or the teacher's guide. I would think so though judging by the TOC.
