Our district is going with integrated math all the way through high school. She has tested into the compacted path for middle school. Students complete one year of math in two trimesters so they will have completed all three years of middle school math by the end of 7th grade. 8th grade is a year long high school math course. Last year we did CLE 500 and it worked pretty well but this year I am looking for something that goes a little faster. I have been looking at Thinkwell. My daughter aced the 6th grade placement test so I had her take the 7th grade one too. She scored 8 out of 10; 7 or more is the score for placement in 7th grade. I am a little hesitant of jumping a whole grade but I do want her placed at the correct level. Do you have any experience with Thinkwell placement tests?
