sweetpea3829 Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 DD9 is spending this summer learning how to skip count by 2-9 (and eventually through 12). She is learning how to skip count before I begin teaching her how to multiply. This is because she has significant dyscalculia, and learning how to multiply is going to be very difficult for her. She is musical, however, and if she can learn her facts via music...they will probably stick. We do have the MUS music CD and songbook. But I'm looking to see if there are any other really good memory songs for each skip counting fact, or multiplication fact. Thanks in advance! I didn't know how one could make skip counting thoroughly Christian, but they sure did. So be warned of that, but like I said, extremely effective.
