teeterbunch
My son has just finished the trigonometry portion of his MUS curriculum. He will take the ACT in a couple of weeks. As I look ahead, the next couple math lessons involve polar coordinates/equations/graphs and vectors. I'm thinking it might help more with his test prep if we skip those and do the lessons on functions and logarithms. So my question is... does he need the polar and vector information as a building block for functions and logarithms or can we skip it and then go back and cover it after the ACT? Thanks so much!! Mike in SA
Not needed for functions and logarithms, but are needed for calculus. So, you can probably skip and come back, as long as you do come back...
teeterbunch
That's what I needed to know! We will definitely come back. We have been paying the price all year for gaps in understanding (not that we skipped the material, he just didn't get it). Ashley
