chiguirre
Geezle is finishing up his 8th grade year at public school and will be moving on to high school next year. He received 3 awards at assembly today. One from his pull out teacher, one for gym and one for art. The award from his pull out teacher is pretty much a given, but the other two reflect his good attitude if not his aptitude. He's doing so well at keeping it together, blending in, meeting teachers' expectations and putting forth his best effort. It was so nice to see his hard work rewarded. As an encouragement, Geezle would not have been able to get to this point without all the years of homeschooling him and finding opportunities for him to be in regular classes as much as possible. It was a lot of hard work and embarrassing situations for me, but it's paid off in his ability to handle the expectations of his mainstream classes.

geodob
While 'aptitude' defines a potential. It is 'attitude' that enables one to realize their potential !
