Based on Faith Academy
That is basically my question. I had an email pal years ago but I guess she got too busy. It was just nice having someone to talk to one on one. Thoughts? Christina :tongue_smilie:
Minerva
I have a pen pal. We started being pen pals with actual pen an paper, before computers ruled the world. At some point in there the ink dried up and now we only use email. It has been one of the most enduring, lovely, thoughtful relationships of my life. She is someone I didn't know well before we started writing, and we haven't seen each other in almost twenty years. I think it makes it very easy for us to be honest about all of the nitty-gritty of our lives. It helps that she is an excellent writer and very funny. I don't really know how you would go about finding a pen pal, but I highly recommend it.
3 ladybugs
Cool idea! I always wanted a pen pal but it never worked out. I remember trying at least twice as a child. Now I figure I am too old, but maybe not. 😃 I would be game if anyone else was. 😊

It shows you both value the friendship.

mamaraby
I have one I got from the LWA - http://letterwriters.org/ I've also been matched with penpals by the LWA that didn't quite mesh well - like the one who didn't have timeand the one who didn't like to read. So it's not necessarily something that always works out.
