mominbc
Does anyone know of a science curriculum that covers renewable/non-renewable resources and sustainability? Thanks!
Pegs
How about a permaculture course? I've heard really good things about this one: http://spiralgardenseedlings.com
5wolfcubs
Not exactly what you're looking for (at all!) but your title made me think of the activities on the Soils.org site. I'm going to check out the spiralgarden link!
Seasider
Check with your state department of conservation and/or your local zoo. Many have curriculum that they distribute to classroom teachers. Home schoolers aren't always aware of these. ETA just realized you might be in Canada, so your government conservation agencies might be structured differently. There are about a hundred activities to choose from.
Chrysalis Academy
Not sure what ages you are looking for. There are quite a few courses on Coursera and EdX that would fit the bill. My 7th grader is currently reading and enjoying this book, which would work for a strong middle schooler or high school reader: http://www.amazon.com/Eyes-Wide-Open-Environmental-Headlines/dp/0763675458/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1430855151&sr=8-1&keywords=eyes+wide+open a couple of other good books for teens: http://www.amazon.com/We-Are-Weather-Makers-History/dp/0763646563/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1430855218&sr=1-1&keywords=we+are+the+weather+makers http://www.amazon.com/Generation-Green-Ultimate-Living-Eco-Friendly-ebook/dp/B001DX54KE/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1430855240&sr=1-1&keywords=generation+green
Dmmetler
Project Wild and Project Learning Tree-check with local nature centers, parks agencies, etc. It's usually a minimum cost to take the workshop ($20 or so for a 2 day workshop) and you get the complete curriculum there. There's also Project WET and Aquatic Wild. I don't know if they go into Canada or not, but they're great. I'm actually planning to see if DD can take them next time they're offered, because she uses my books a lot in planning activities for her educational programs, and I think that she'd benefit from the teacher training. Ecclecticmum
Probably not what your after but Global Village School has suggestions along these lines. The guides are basically just a big long book suggestion though, along with inspiration and planning helps.
