Where do you buy Rod & Staff books?

Recommended Posts

For next school year, I will need Rod & Staff spelling & english.  We used to live near a convention and each year I would purchase from a wonderful booth there.  We recently moved.  There are not any area conventions that are within driving distance for me with R & S.  Where do you usually purchase them from??

Thanks!

Melissa

Milestone books is great--always quick service. Another plus--last year they sent out an e-mail that they will buy back books in good condition and I thought the price was pretty fair (can't remember what it was now--I'll probably sell back to them this year or next). So it's possible you may be able to get used books from them for a lower price if you need to.

They have R&S on Amazon now!

Just to clarify, Rod and Staff Publishers only sells its books directly to customers (which could be someone like Milestone Ministries, or those nice people who have booths at conventions).. They don't do conventions, or anything on-line, including Amazon (it's a third-party seller on Amazon).

I don't mind buying from a third-party seller, because R&S doesn't lose out. :-) I've just been buying directly from the publisher since, oh, 1983, and I'm used to it. :-)

I alwys buy either from them directly at convention or used from other homeschoolers.  If I could not find it used or go to convention I would order direct from the publishers.  I have had nothing by good experiences with their customer service and would want to support them directly.

Just to clarify, when you buy at a convention, you are not buying directly from Rod and Staff Publishers. R&S doesn't have sales reps, doesn't go to conventions. You're buying from someone who has a business selling R&S books (and usually others, as well). I only bring this up because I have known of people who bought books at a convention and then tried to return them to the publisher, but the publisher wouldn't take back the books because they didn't sell the books at the convention. :-)
