Need software for voice-over work

I've used Audacity (link below).  It has a lot of features and as a consequence isn't perhaps as user-friendly as one might like, but I just ignored all of the more complicated options, and figured it out without too much problem.

 

If you happen to have access to a PC that the 2010 (or higher) PowerPoint program on it, you can record sound with it, but I have not played around with options for saving the result to a pure audio file.
