Kendall
I don't know if that is the best way to put it, but if you were advising someone about K (oldest child) and they want a schedule of some sort(rather than just grab K child and go like I do now) what would you suggest they look at? I know about Sonlight and will put it on the list; it is what I used with my first K child. What else is out there now that falls more to that side than to the Abeka/BJU side of things? Not separate components (I can advise there!) but for someone who might need a mostly complete package with pacing guides while the mom gets comfortable. (Been there done that, but it was so long ago so I am sure Sonlight isn't the only option anymore!) Suggestions for somewhere in the middle would be fine, too. mamajag
Memoria Press. I can't say enough good things about their K program.

AdventuresinHomeschooling
I would suggest My Father's World. Another idea is the Well Trained Mind Kindergarten in a box. It is separate subjects cobbled together though, and I don't know that there is a Master lesson plan. I also don't think Saxon math is the best in kindergarten. Homeschoolmom3
I can second Easy Classical and Memoria Press. :)
Jackie
Build Your Library or Moving Beyond the Page 4-5 for a couple of secular options.
ALB
Memoria Press. Has great lit based studies in the Enrichment portion, and also has good solid phonics instructions.
Openhearted
Another vote for Memoria Press. We are loving their Kindergarten Core. We are on week 23. The twins are reading and doing so well. I have already ordered first grade for fall.
mamaraby
FIAR? Maybe that's too loose. MBTP I wouldn't suggest Build Your Library if typos and a certain lack of...polish might annoy. Honestly, I wasn't impressed.

Teneo
I would choose Living Books Curriculum if looking in the Sonlight genre. While Memoria Press is wonderful it has quite a bit more workbook/writing requirement than Sonlight. However it is closer to Sonlight than ABeka by far. Another option is the award winning Veritas Press k.
msquire80
Living books curriculum is like Sonlight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
