Sometimes you've got to laugh....

DD's registration for this summer's SSAR conference has been held up. Apparently the problem is that her educational affiliation is "Homeschooled, 6th grade" not a university.

I'm not terribly worried since the executive board knows DD and knows she's planning to attend, but it's definitely a "problems that only come with accelerated kids!"

Her mentor thinks they have it taken care of. We'll see if I get a confirmation on her e-mail Monday.

I am kind of hoping that this will catch it and make it easier for the other pre-bac students, although some of them could probably list whatever school they're doing DE at or will be attending full-time next year, since last year a lot of them introduced themselves with "I just graduated from X high school, and will be attending X university as a biology major in the fall..."

And, FWIW, I've discovered that in many cases, it's easier to get DD into college/professional level stuff than to get her in to a co-op class for kids a year older than she is. I've pretty much stopped trying to explain for "kids' stuff".
