EmseB
I recently read about a giveaway on Mystie's blog for a subscription to Headventureland (which I had never heard of before!) and it looks like something my oldest would love when we dive into Latin next school year. But, we're not using CAP for Latin, so I'm wondering if the subscription would be worth it. It looks like fun practice, but if it's tied too much SSL or LFC's specific lessons it could be confusing for the beginning student, right? Any one use Headventureland without using CAP's curriculum? EmseB
Anyone?
SoCal_Bear
probably late to respond. Headventure is tied directly to Song School Latin. It's organized according to the chapters in the book and the vocabulary that is covered.
Momto4inSoCal
We are using it with Latin for Children A. It's almost the entire lesson online. It has vocabulary practice with the list from each lesson, a story using the vocab words, grammar practice with the specific words from the lesson and a chant that uses the memory work from the lesson. It goes in order with the book. So far all they have is LfC A, B and SSL.
waa510
Heaventureland aligns very closely with the LfC book material. I'm not sure that it'd work as a supplement to something else.
