Lively Art of Writing with the student workbook, plus plenty of opportunities to practice essay writing on topics across the curriculum?

Or, if you want more guidance for topics, plus models, I'd pick Writing WIth a Thesis and work through it.  You cover all the major types of essays with nice examples of each.

We're doing the first in 7th and plan the 2nd for 8th.

Thank you! We're moving into LAoW right now with my ds, and I've been casting about for what to follow it with. This looks really good!

I have LAoW on my shelf but where can I find the workbook?

Writing with a Thesis looks good also.  Thank you!

This looks great. Thanks so much for linking it, Rose! Since the original discussion was on the high school board two years ago, I would never have seen it otherwise.
