Oooo me!!! This is my first tackle thread I think but I really need it. I have had a huge to do list hanging over me for a long time and my sister gave me a kick in the pants to do a few things to make it smaller, one day at a time.

So my list:

1. School for all three boys (for all three: math, reading aloud to me and then me to them, for older two: history, geography, for DS1: spelling)

2. Fill out testing form for middle, and form for school board

3. Call for application for respite

4. Redo appointment calendar and update it

5. Finish booklists for me and kids

6. Call to confirm DS3 appointment

7. Gather paperwork for respite application

8. Catch up dishes and clean counters

9. Clean bathroom

10. If I am up to leaving the house before I have to take youngest to hospital then office supply store, thrift store, and Gramma's

Also important: Breathe

Sleep?  Dh and I were both startled awake when some boxes of photos collapsed/fell over at 2:30 a.m.  Freaky, and no way can I fall back asleep right now.

The plan:

coffee (decaf)

lesson plan

cinnamon coffee cake in oven

workout, extra cardio for the two pieces of bread I ate yesterday in a weak moment

visit with my mom, errands, lunch

return dvds to library

attempt to fill a box or two for donation

Good morning everyone!

Another 10" of snow fell when they had predicted 4-6, so dh is off to do driveways, made him oatmeal and a lunchbox with lots of snacks and water.

I'll be out doing a path to the chicken coop to get them water in a few minutes.

Another battle to get the stove cranking without kindling but I won again.

School with youngest and then she has friends coming for an overnight.

clean the kitchen up and do dishes that mysteriously appear after I've gone to bed.

Think we will order out pizza tonight.

I think I am feeling better today, and I think I'll have the house to myself for most of the day, so I hope I will get a lot done.  Just hoping to get caught up on old/current stuff before the next deadline hits.

Today's Friday Fun Day for the kids, so no book work after school.  They are on their own until dinner.

The list:

  • Get kids up & out, including lesson review, breakfast, lunches.  [done]
  • Clean bathrooms, kitchen, and some clutter.  [done]
  • Work until 6pm [done], taking breaks for:
    • A little exercise  [done]
    • A little reading  [done]
    • A little housework  [done]
  • Go out to dinner.  [done]
  • Shop at Pat Catan's.  [done]
  • Watch Kung Fu with the kids.  [done]
  • Kids to bed.  [done]
  • Work from 10-midnight.

Good morning all! Dh is back at work so I'm tending to the kids on my own. Luckily the worst is over and all vomiting has stopped. They are all mostly just lying around watching TV why they whine about their stomachs cramping.

- fold all laundry and put it away.

- wasdh comforter for the 3rd time

- pay bills

- sleep when kids sleep

- clean my bedroom (it smells like death!)

- get all trash to dumpster

My day will be a bit off the norm :)

--just Science Olympiad prep for dd

--emails to team

--triple-check paperwork; pack bag

--make muffins for tomorrow

--usual daily things

--Friday-specific tasks

I may go sledding today for exercise. We have an awesome sloping hill in our (long) backyard. Dh took a few runs yesterday while I finished shoveling--he said it was perfect :)

Dinner will be nachos w homemade refried beans (out of the freezer).

Well my mom will have all of her kids and grandkids together. My youngest brother will be up there too (my middle brother and his 3 live up there). The last time we were all together was at my house for Thanksgiving, it's sad though why we are all going to be there (youngest brother and I were the closest to the family).

3 of the for kids are asleep again and I got a cat nap in. Bills are paid for the month! I won an eBay auction so now I'm done dad's bday gift shopping! Time to clean my room and work on getting in part of the laundry folded and away, there are about 5 loads and still more that need to be washed.

Missed you all yesterday.  I was busy catching up on some things that didn't get done.

Today - dd and grandchildren preparations.  Cooking, baking cleaning guestroom, etc.  They aren't coming until Sunday, but I'll have other things to do tomorrow.  My daughter's husband is going to be gutting and redoing their ONLY bathroom, hence their visit. :)

Robins in the front yard.  Deer in the backyard.  Love it!

Yeah, I just don't like going up there because it's a small island filled with people who likes to start drama/try to involve you into some already started drama because there isn't much else to do. I'm drama phobic :D I probably won't venture out much and will try my best to stay out of the places where there is a high chance of some sort of drama occurring (which is most places that are open in winter)

Good Afternoon....

Yesterday proved to be a great work day for ds...he got everything done except finishing up some lit reading and taking a chem test online by tomorrow at mid-night.

Everyone is home but dh so we decided to get the house all clean today so tomorrow when the roads are better we can get out and about.

The sun is shining nice and bright and very motivating!

Have a great day everyone!

Human care done minus a shower that I really really need - which I promise I will get later!

Pet care done including taking care of the deaf, incontinent, lame dog across the street.

Cleaned the kitchen for the first but not last time today.

Got ds settled in physics again.

Cared for my sick dying daughter that looks like Death warmed over.

Figured out how to make a new "recipe" from some of the things in my fridge and freezer for dh's dinner because I don't want to go out before having the aforementioned shower.

Now:  going across the street again to take care of the deaf, incontinent, lame dog - who really is a sweetheart.

Talked the kids out of TKD, yippee for me!  But instead, we're planning to go to Pat Catan's to buy paint to decorate their derby cars.  :)

I also need to plan out the weekend and make sure everyone is on the same page with changes in our usual schedule.

Still working on "work," but now I want a break to wash my hair so it can dry before we go out.

Took care of neighbor's dog

saw dh off to work

ds got done with his physics

took ds to pick up the shoes he ordered

went to the grocery store, pet store and Papa Murphy's for pizza for the kids.

Now my throat is in serious pain again - the shards of glass pain that tells me it is this lingual tonsil thing, not a sore throat from a virus.  I'm tired.  And of course it the weekend so it isn't like I can call the ENT.  I sound like I'm going to lose my voice again too.

Went to dinner and Pat Catan's.  Wow, they sure do have a lot of stuff for pinewood derby cars.  I guess it's a big thing, because the checkout lady knew exactly what I was looking for and where it was.  When I returned to the counter to check out, she noted that most people also buy weights.  I told her this was my kids' first derby and we weren't trying to be too competitive.  :P

It was a lot more money than I expected, for what originally sounded like a nice down-to-earth hands-on project.

So now I have to figure out what we're going to do with all this stuff.  But not tonight.

Started the day in Melbourne did 3 specialist appointments. The last specialist so nicely managed to see us 30 minutes early ( how she did it I don't know as she was double booked already) allowing me to make the train back to the country with 5 minutes to spare.

4 hours by train plus 2 hours by bus and got home at 7:30 pm. Twin 2 screamed for just over 2 hours on the train, not straight but broken in to 1/2 hour sessions. I stood with him in the area between carriages that has glass doors between it and the carriage while he screamed his head off while ds11 did an absolutely fabulous job of looking after twin 1 in the carriage ( in my sight). He can scream very very loud. So hoping that he one day works out how to gain control over his screaming. in the meantime we will ride out the storm.

Twin one got fitted for new AFOs they will be ready in 3 weeks - so we will be doing the trip again in 3 weeks. :001_unsure:
