Halcyon
I am eyeing this course for my 9 year old writing boy. He has completed WWE1, 2 and 3 and has been using CAP for the time being, but I wonder if it might be better to challenge him with an online course (his brother has begun some online courses and he is definitely envious!) How demanding is the course? I know WWS1 from using it with older, and I found it to be quite challenging. How fast does the course move? He is adept with a computer, so there's no issue there. Thoughts? He really also enjoys creative writing--is there an equivalent for his age group or perhaps a bit older that might work?

My ds2 is 10 and will be a 5th grader next year. I had planned to start WWS1 with him in 6th grade, like I did with his brother. But he is having no problem with WWE3 and Killgallon, writes his own 'books' etc. So, I signed him up for the Expository 1 class ... but I am nervous. I went back and forth and back and forth between that one and the lower level Prep for Expository... I am still not sure I made the correct decision. I was told that if the class is too hard I am allowed to move him to the lower class.
