AMJ
The kids and I spent the day outside today on a field trip. We didn't think about sunscreen as rain had been predicted, but it was much warmer and sunnier than expected. I got the worst of it, with my face matching the rather vibrant pink pants I donned after showering after we got back. Then I looked in the mirror and realized: The "lines of character" in my face are now two-toned. Somehow I find this as amusing (or more) as it is irksome. Now I need to find good jokes to crack, as I can never think of any good ones until after the moment is well past! We have company coming this weekend (family). Anyone know any good, irreverent, self-poking zingers? :o
Wildcat
I have had the red face/white laugh line tan many times. I have had the 'raccoon face' due to wearing sunglasses and no sunscreen zillions of times. I prefer the former as it looks much less ridiculous than the latter. I am a slow learner.
AMJ
I don't have any zingers, but I found out last month that the scar on my face (horse accident--fractured skull) really shows up with a sunburn! I've had it for years, but it really shows now. Oops! Yeah, I have noticed old bug bite scars that have faded to invisibility on my upper chest and arms reappearing as glowing pale dots amid the burn. I'm tempted to play connect the dots, but someone tells me I have to set a decent example for my kids....
