Melissa in Australia
regular early morning jobs of milking and twin supervision. tried desperately to get ds11 to get his morning schoolwork done. AGH! he makes me feel like pulling my hair out and kicking the wall. bottled a basket of tomatoes ( I think you call it canning over there). rushed around doing a million small jobs that had to be done. Why is it when everyone is away for a day that the house gets so incredibly messy? Helped DH pull a bee hive completely apart to look for the queen as we wanted to requeen. Alas we were unsuccessful and when DS17 yelled (from the safety of the house) that I was running late for the Staff meeting ( at work) DH and I quickly threw the hive together and started a nucleus hive with the queen we bought. Went into town for staff meeting, which went way overtime, got fuel for DS17 so he can go out in a boat fishing tomorrow. came home late late late , DH had already started cooking tea, I finished it off while he bathed the twins Still to do: go over lesson plans for tomorrow's ( work) do DS11's school work for tomorrow with him

Lizzie in Ma
Good morning everyone! I overdid yesterday so I got up tired. Stupid flu really took it out of me. We got another 5 inches Wednesday night so youngest went out to work with her dad instead of school yesterday. We are to get another 2" today but it shouldn't be enough to have to clear driveways again. The snow isn't so bad, it's the ice! School with youngest laundry leftovers for supper, I made beef stew yesterday, split pea soup and ham salad so good to go for lunches too. Dh bought me a very badly needed new computer so I can finally get on the Cortex to play Firefly online!!! I am going to take apart my old one and his today and cobble together a better one for him from parts. catch up on Arrow and Supernatural with dh tonight

hjffkj
Not kill the kids!!! This whole redo day didn't start well. The 2 older ones have already gotten into a fight where punches and tears were involved. 2 year old has been testing every limit possible and is not happy that I'm not letting him get away with everything. Baby girl is finally asleep for her long nap so I gotta find something that will really get some energy out of these kids before their forced relax time after lunch

MomtoCandJ
😠my car is going to cost $300 to fix, mostly in labor since they need to go behind the fire wall (I know it could be way worse but money is rather tight right now). They don't think my car will last much longer due to a lot of underbody rust. I'm thinking we are going to have to hold off on home renovations for another year and use our refund to payoff dh's truck so we can finance me another car. hjffkj
Parts of the day were good and productive! I cleaned the kitchen, made cookies from scratch with the kids, and I paid the first half of the bills for March. Oh and I started planning a trip to visit my sister. Hopefully my will be coming with because a 15 hour drive with 4 kids by myself will be challenging
