Cakes
My 12 yr old is using Thinkwell online math and is struggling with Direct Variations of linear function. I am not the slightest bit mathy and the videos are not helping her for some reason. This is where she is stuck : Graphs and Functions > Linear Functions > Direct Variation Can anyone advise or give me a resource?
letsplaymath
I don't have access to the Thinkwell site, but here are some general resources that might be helpful: PurpleMath http://www.purplemath.com/modules/variatn.htm Algebra Lab http://www.algebralab.org/lessons/lesson.aspx?file=Algebra_LinearEqDirectVariation.xml

Cakes
I am not sure why but my DD has an aversion to Khan. I think she has a hard time finding what she is looking for, and she usually goes there is a frustrated state! Any tips on how to better navigate?
