linders
By pure chance, I was asked to be an advisor/proofreader for the yearbook staff at my sons' new school (happened to be in the office when a teacher came in asking the headmaster for support ideas). It is AMAZING what you learn about the school, the teachers, and the kids in your DC classes by sitting in the yearbook room quietly working away. Everyone - teachers, headmaster, kids - seems to pop in with tidbits on this on that. As a bonus, I love scrapbooking, and this is just a focused version of that. I highly recommend it. Tsuga
I would love to at some point work four tens so I could spend one day a week in my kids' classrooms. I might do it next year when they have the same schedule.
kiwik
I switched to four days with that in mind but ds5 doesn't really want me there and ds7 is too old to have helpers in the classroom now.
