lewelma
I'm waking up ds early and we are going to walk over there to get his brain going. As I said in the other thread, luckily a few days ago the IMO team leader sent out the/his solutions for the past 4 years AND his personal thinking that led him to the answers. So ds has been reading and studying. This exam is for the top 100 students in the UK as determined by the BMO1 test scores, and these students are aged 16 to 19. So my little 14 year old expects to get *whomped* on this exam. But he is going in with a good attitude which is all I can hope for. 15 minutes after the exam, he has his second-to-last orthodontist appointment across town, so we are going to have to RUN! This is me speeding.... :auto: Ruth in NZ
Grover
what did he think of it?
lewelma
(deleted) He's not too fussed, though, as we kept telling him it was really just practice for next year. AMO is in 10 days and it is 8 hours long! On the good side, braces come off in 3 weeks. :hurray:
Grover
it sounds like he has the right mindset for it anyway... good luck for AMO
kiwik
Oh well. Poor dress rehearsal equals good performance they say.
