Really excited...Memoria Press Special Needs

This looks really interesting. Level B looks like a good fit for my younger DD overall, though I'd need to tweak the phonics and math to make those the appropriate level.

This is what I plan to do with my almost 7 year old ds because those are his strengths, and he is doing very well in our current curricula (Bearing Away and MUS).  I'm so excited to find something that addresses his difficulties and can't wait for it to arrive!  From the samples, several of the activities are or reinforce therapy activities that his neurodevelopmental therapist has him doing.  I even had many of the read-alouds :)

Bumping...just because I was wondering if anyone else had purchased this (any level) and, if so, what they thought.  It's way (WAY) too early for me to post a real review, but so far it's filling a need for us even though my ds isn't a perfect fit for it (like there is ever a perfect fit, LOL) :)  My ds is beyond the current levels cognitively (guessing from the preview, cognitively he would probably place in Level 1) but is really benefiting from it in expressive language skills, fine and gross motor skills, and social skills (those place him in Level B).  We are continuing with his current phonics and math to meet his cognitive needs and using Level B for the rest.  At first I thought I would skip the alphabet and numbers lessons, but they have really been good for his fine motor skills.  I think he is better able to focus on his fine motor skills because he has mastered the cognitive lesson (one thing to focus on instead of two?).  I'm also enjoying the introduction of poetry and music (something we weren't doing at all).

I bought this but didn't use it.  I have Levels A and B for sale actually.  I looked through them and I really like it, but it's not quite what we needed.  If anyone is interested in them, let me know.  Maybe the other levels will come out soon so we can use them.

Are you willing to separate items? I have a lot of the books. I would just need the lesson plans and the books I don't already own. I am interested in Level A. I am going to send you a PM.

If we didn't already have Level B, I'd so want to buy it!  Level C is out and Level 1 is due to be released soon (I think by summer).

I have been using Level A with my dd7 for the past few weeks. It is a good fit, but I do have to modify it a bit. We are moving through it slowly, stretching a week over two-three weeks. I have to repeat things with my daughter several times in order for her to get anything from it. Also, she is not always cooperative with school, so that slows us down as well. In addition to all of that, she is semi non-verbal, usually only communicating her needs, singing random songs, or naming a few objects here and there. I consider it a good day if we cover two-three activities.

A friend of mine has been finding the reference lists in Cheryl Swope's book to be really helpful if anyone with older kids is interested in using her book (Cheryl Swope is creating the SN curriculum for MP). I think the whole book has been something she's found helpful, actually.

I'm so thankful I came across this post! This is the first time I've seen a curriculum geared toward kids with special needs.  I think my oldest is just slightly beyond Level 1 - but I will be curious to see what level 2 is like.  He is working on about a 2nd grade level (he is 12/6th grade).
