MistyMountain
When I am on my laptop I will have written a post and then hit reply and the content will be gone and it says you must enter a post. I can post in some areas but not others. It works fine on my IPad where I am currently posting from.
MomsintheGarden
I had the same problem. Dh fixed it by getting rid of my cookies. Hope that works for you!
geodob
One thing about how the internet works? Is that it regularly 'refreshes' the page that you are looking. So that it wipes the page, and forms a new one. This happens in a split second, so that we don't notice it. Which isn't a problem when we are reading a page. But it is a real problem on Forums, where people take some time to write reply. Where the page has been refreshed as they write. Which can also sign you out from the Forum. But you need to sign in first, before you can post on most forums. Though as soon as you click on something, it signs you back in. But what you wrote before you were automatically signed back in again? Has disappeared. The best solution, is for posts that take more than a minute or two? Is to select and copy what you have written, before you click on the Post button.
Emerald Stoker
This is happening to me, too. I can start new threads, but I can't send private messages or reply to posts on already existing threads. It's irksome. ETA: Except this one, it seems! How odd. Critterfixer
Me too. I can even tell by the font on the reply whether it is going to work or not. ETA: I just increase the cookie filter and that seems to have fixed the problem.
