Grantmom Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 It seems like I have noticed a lot more spam. I don't know if I am just seeing it more, or if it has increased. I know some forums will require the first couple of posts to be reviewed by a moderator first. I am sure that would take more work though. IsabelC Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Sounds like a great idea, and has the advantage of being able to be done automatically rather than increasing moderator workload. If the spambots somehow pick up on that rule and post 15 rubbish posts before putting up the links, another option might be to require a given number of Likes before full posting privileges are conferred.
