Some of the apps (Bible.is?) require wifi but have more features like that. I'm pretty sure one of them has an audio. In fact I think one even has a dramatized version. But just for normal audio, I'm pretty sure one does and it's going to be searchable, like you're saying. So you use the pulldowns to get you to the book, chapter, etc. Pulldowns will be way faster than typing in, which is why you want an app. http://www.bible.is This is one.
