DD has entered her corn snake, Wadjet, in a halloween photo contest run by a reptile supply house, in the hopes of winning a gift card to get supplies (she pays for most of the supplies for her animals herself, either by doing chores at home or by helping out friends who have reptiles-she cleans cages for a ball python breeder in exchange for rodents for snake food, for example), but mostly to show off her pet.
