Wildiris
Dear-Loved-One came home last night to tell the family about a report he heard on the radio about decision fatigue. The topic has been around for a while; nonetheless, it is an interesting read. It helps explain why most go on autopilot at the end of the day, why supermarkets have sweets at the cash register, and why diets are so darn hard. Do You Suffer From Decision Fatigue? *Lulu*
Yes! It is why I spend weeks prepping math curricula and go meh by the time I get to science or nature study. I am all decision-ed out!

Mrs. A
I'm pretty sure Charlotte Mason said that making decisions is one of the greatest efforts in life. I guess that's why she was so big on habit training. :)
Mrs. A
I just realized that this is probably why I hate menu planning so much! (can't believe it's taken me so many years to figure that out! )

Ausmumof3
I reckon this is why I like fruit and vege boxes. Instead of deciding what to buy and make I just get to work out what I can do from a limited range of options.
Susan in TN
It may be why I have come to prefer shopping at Aldi.
Tohru
Goodness! Yes! When I do have to make a decision, I go back and forth several times before giving up and not deciding anything. It is so overwhelming!

Seasider
Yes! I know when I have reached that point. I could send up a flag the moment it happens. Unfortunately I also know and can become quite frustrated with some family members who seem to suffer chronically from indecision. I would like to think there's a distinction between the two (decision fatigue vs chronic indecision).
