Now I have too - especially for some areas.  now, I have to go buy some bandanas . .  (or maybe just go to the fabric store . . . )

I am guessing that they don't mean household trash like papers, but yard trash/debris like leaves and sticks that may fall on you when you are trimming trees or bushes.

Yep. Also essential for me while doing anything that will involve sweat in any amount.  I get tired of my eyes stinging and having to wipe my face. With my head covered, usually with the most gaudy and outrageous colors and patterns available, I'm cool.
