Horrible Science magazines? Has anyone seen them?

Has anyone seen these?

We have the Horrible Science book set, and frankly my kids haven't gotten into them yet (am wondering if I should try the murderous maths books, because my son loves math, but not sure if they will float his boat or not).

But my kids love magazines, so I'm wondering about these magazines. Anyone have a review of these?

These look like they would be a hit in our house!  Thank you for this link as I hadn't  heard of them before.  Do you know the best place to get them?  I'm in the USA.

The website she linked to is a man living in the US who imports them. You can buy from him. I've heard lots of good reports but haven't bought from him myself. I don't know of any other source for the magazines.

Is it worth it to get the magazines if you have the books on a topic??

Update! I bought the set of 65 magazines from Horrible Ray (he actually lives in my city and I've ordered from him quite a few times -- he is the BEST!) The box just arrived today. First of all, it's a huge box. I wasn't expecting that. Well most of the magazines come with little extras that go with each issue. They are FABULOUS!!!! My ds8 was here when they arrived and he was quite giddy over them. Let's just say that THIS is going to be our science this year!!! I will use it as a jumping off point and then gather more information if necessary, but these things are SERIOUSLY awesome (as if you couldn't already tell from my all caps and exclamation points).

He did say that since these are out of print, he doesn't have many sets left, so I was glad I jumped on it immediately. I am REALLY happy with this purchase

By the way, he sent me a link with more that he had scanned. Maybe this will help someone make a decision:

Oh, and he is amazing to work with. You tell him what you want, and then he just asks you to mail him a check once you receive the package. I asked if I could ever come over and look at all the stuff available, since I am so close, and he said yes. I'm not afraid that I'm missing out on some amazing stuff!
