Let's not lose any more people. Here's what to do if you notice a social group post has gone public...PM one the posters with a polite heads-up or, as I did when I noticed the Orthodox ladies had a post go public, start a thread to give them a heads-up so they can deal with it in a timely manner. Be friendly about it. Don't use it as an excuse to report, report, report. If someone had done the above, instead of reporting, Wendy might still be here in all her bacon glory. Yes. Yes it is. I said in another thread recently that I've never reported a post in my two plus decades of participating on newsgroups and message boards. How silly. It seems so childish. And yeah, I'd forgotten about Chucki! Glad I'm not the only one who misses things while on board breaks. I'm surprised and sad people would be rude and comment on them, I always figured those were for like minded folks to safely discuss things that might not do well on the main board. I miss Sparkly too - she had superb taste in programs and the dancing bacon always made my low carber heart happy. :( I know, I completely missed it.... what happened??? (The Social Groups thread starts quite a while back, so you'd need to look at the dates for the more recent posts to the thread.) I wish Wendy and whomever else is missing would come back. Edited to add -- I just noticed that mommymilkies already posted a link to the SOCIAL GROUPS thread. The Moderation Suggestions thread is in that same area, as well.
