Bang!Zoom! Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Hey guess what!!!!My daughter is coming to Ann Arbor to stay with me & we are doing a season of unschooling! I am so stinking excited I can't stand it!She'll be here Friday, and we'll start on the following Monday.When I first pitched the idea to her, she said, "You know Mom, I was thinking this whole middle school PS thing was such a big deal with the socialization things with my friends. We don't *do* anything though. It's just boys, boys, boys..and that's dumb. And besides that, I don't want to look back and say I had an average life. Let's do it."Yah! I'm going with a extremely/extremely relaxed unschooling approach except for maths which I'll do formally/daily.If I was a puppy, I'd pee on the floor I'm so happy..lolHere she is from a recent visit to Monticello.
