We used Story of the World 1--3 for the first three years and then started TOG 4 and TOG 1 ( a lady lent me TOG 1 and lots of books to make it easy). I bought all the Winter Promise Quest for Middle Ages books from a friend who sold them to me at a huge discount and got a free guide from a generous member here. We are enjoying the first week of the program now. Now I am thinking ahead. We can go back to TOG 2 the last unit after we finish WP. But I think it might be good to continue with MOH 3 as the spine. I do not want to buy all the WP books for the next level because I cannot afford it. So what are my options? Can you give me some suggestions? I do have TOG 3 and 4 year plans. The reason I didn't continue with TOG 2 now is that I do not have units 1 and 2 and the books are highly unavailable in the library. Thanks! You might want to post your question on the K-8 board for more ideas as this board is concerned mainly with high school students and adult learners.
