wapiti
Ds11 has expressed a desire to type his math. Does anyone have any new recommendations for either pc or ipad? Or should we just buckle down and have him learn LaTeX? I'm not sure which device he would use for this - presumably the pc would be easier, especially if he's working at home. If he's working on the pc in his classroom, that would take some arrangement with his teacher. If I need to provide a device for him to use in the classroom, then I'm not sure ipad vs pc, as I have no current plan for that. I had a thread about this before though I can't seem to find it and I wanted to see whether there were additional suggestions anyway. Thanks! quark
I think I remember someone mentioning this software: http://www.efofex.com/ but I haven't used this personally. Please do update if you use it and find it to be good.
Arcadia
I had used the equation editor in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint back in the 90s for typing reports. It's still being used.
