dauphin
I have a copy and I like the quality a lot. I know some of the family and they are good people.
JudoMom
We listened to it last week on a trip and everyone liked it. Very well done.
vonfirmath
Following. I remember when this first popped up and then totally forgot about it. :) Odd. I just downloaded an audiobook and study guide for just this Henty book off the Jim Hodges page for free. Is this the same reader? That was just a download. Maybe this is a "CD+booklet" version of it?
dauphin
This is an audio dramatization not an audiobook. Acclaimed British actors, recorded in London, and all that.
TGHEALTHYMOM
It is a 2 hour / 2 CD audio drama. The offer for the bundle still works. I just ordered it and will be receiving 4 copies to share as gifts and an audio mp3 file of the music as well as a copy of Drake's Prayer, a Study Guide, some e-books and a documentary. Thanks for the reviews! My oldest 2 read The Cat of Bubastes for a class, and did not want any more Henty books... that is why I asked about this one on here. dauphin
Funny, my DDs first exposure to Henty was Cat of Bubastes too and she has reread it for fun. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to be much of an audiobook kid :(
