Mom22ns Posted August 23, 2014 Share Posted August 23, 2014 We used some virtual labs (virtual dissections for ds for example), but I would not have been comfortable calling a class a lab science if all we had done was virtual labs. I agree with SliverMoon, check with colleges. If they say it is ok, then ignore me. However, I'm guessing it is not going to be well received by most. The lab sciences offered on-line via Bridgeway are on-line interactive courses with a live instructor, utilizing live chat and white-board instruction (they use Jigsaw as their platform). They count for 1/2 credit of high school lab science from a fully accredited K-12 program. This year they are offering Bio, Chem and Astronomy labs.
