RS Math & TT, do I have to supplement with Word Problems?

I know many who use the first edition RightStart Math who say they need to work on word problems, but if i'm also using Teaching Textbooks... do they cover word problems well enough?

If not, then what is the simplest way to get the job done?

I currently have:

Fan-Math Process Skills in problem solving

primary mathematics challenging word problems, a year behind RS level

Evan-Moor daily world problems Math

Singapore Math 70 must-know word problems grade 1-2 (not main branch of singapore math brand)

so those are sitting on the shelf and i'm wondering what would be the best plan of action.... (no plans to use all of them!!!)

if i did use them is process skills in problem solving going to cut it? my daughter tends to need more practice YET gets burned out on repetition, but really likes finishing books, staying with the same series of something...

my first thought was to either skip them all together for now, OR use process skills (PS) along with or staggered before challenging word problems (CWP) - because they may be the best... but then Evan-Moor looks good and it's a simple... one problem a day... so maybe the PS with Evan-Moor Word Problems (EMWP)?

I don't want to over think it, but I need some more assurance that yes TT and RSMath 1st edition are both weak in word problems...

We've used RS with Process Skills and CWP and it worked well for us. I thought it provided a nice supplement to RS, which is pretty limited on word problems, I have to agree. I have never used or even seen TT, so I can't speak to that.

We're switching to MM, which I think has sufficient word problems, but we'll probably continue with the supplemental word problems for enrichment.
