Excellence in Literature questions

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if it would be very difficult to use the Excellence in Literature modules in a different order than how they are presented in the books?  For instance, if I wanted to choose just the modules that corresponded to the books we were reading from the ancients period, then could I skip around and do that, or is it the type of program where I should go through each book in order?  I like the look of the program and the modules, but I would like to keep progressing through literature in a chronological order so I don't really want to follow the exact order of the EiL books.  Thanks for any advice!

I don't think it would be hard to do them out of order or skip around. But, like Hunter said, there are some levels that are harder than others. So, keep that in mind!

At one time, Dicentra color-coded the EIL list by historical "time period."  So, someone sure plans on using EIL chronologically!

Thank you for the link, I was looking everywhere for this. I thought I was crazy and had made it up in my mind since I couldn't find it. Thank you!

If Dicentra doesn't get back to you, PM me. I got it at the time & downloaded it - so I can send it to you if you need it. (The Hive is so great with sharing resources. I just love these people!  :001_tt1: )

I sent her a message late last night, so I'll give her some time. If I don't hear from her soon I'll let you know. Thank you.
