dauphin
By bedtime this introverted mama is ready to not have any.more.voices going, including her own! Haha. Do any of you use this as a nighttime ritual?
aggieamy
DD has listened to an audiobook at night in bed since she was about 4 years old. It's wonderful. We still do a read aloud but then she'll listen on her own and go to sleep. How old are your kids? One of our absolute favorite audiobooks for night time is James Herriots' Treasury for Children. The stories are so gentle and the narrator is great.
jaderbee
Ditto. Though I still read a chapter to the kids most nights. Our eldest has had an ipod for audiobooks since 5. She has loved and listened to (over and over and over) Magic Tree House, All of a Kind Family, Ramona books, Sparky books from Awanas, Chronicles of Narnia (though it's the dramatization), and Our Island Story. She listens to others but those are the ones she listens to often. I had to take MTH and Ramona off to guide her to other audiobooks (and she was imitating Beezus' and Ramona's less desirable quantities).
