Anyone use their Barton Manual for copywork?

Recommended Posts

I have been writing out copywork from the Barton leveled readers or the sentences in the manual.  Anyone know an easier way to do this (a link of some kind that I can type sentences in and print them out on lined paper)?  It would make my life so much easier.

Well, not through Barton.  Have you looked at Start Write software?  It may have a version for print.  I have the one for cursive in the New American Cursive font.  LOVE IT!  I can type up any word or sentence I want and it prints out with lines to look like paper.  I can print out lines with the guided dots in the middle or not, I can print out letters that are dotted and can be traced, I can print out solid letters with blank lines underneath for copywork, etc.  And I can make the lines and letters any font size I need, too.  It has really come in handy.

I've been checking out Start Write. It looks like just what I need. Thanks!

It took a little bit to get used to the software but I honestly find it very versatile for our needs.  I have a son who has dysgraphia and it has been a huge help for him.  It also helps DD, but it meets different needs...
