Princess Ariel
This was recommended to me by two different individuals. I don't know how long it will be available online to watch. It is about these boys with various LD's at this private school and how they go about learning to recite the Gettysburg Address. I really enjoyed watching it and would love to know what types of curriculum and resources they use with these kids. I know there is no way my ds would ever be able to attend a school like this, partly due to his IQ being on the low side but also because the expense is huge. I would also miss him way too much to send him away to school! But I thought it was fascinating to watch how they worked with these boys. It's a Ken Burns film on PBS. Anyhow, I thought I would pass it on http://www.greenwood.org/
PeterPan
Ooo, that sounds great! Wish I had time to watch right now! Is it long or short? Answered my own question. 1 1/2 hours. Great share though and will try to watch it when I have some down time. :)
