Anyone used from Linguisystem?

Or Spotlight on Vocabulary?

We have Caesar's English here at the house and there is NO WAY my daughter could handle that.

I used Wordly Wise as a kid and there is no way my daughter could handle that either.

Other vocab programs that might work for her?

I am back at checking out Spotlight on Vocabulary from Proed/linguisystems,

1870.jpg
Spotlight on Vocabulary Level 2 6-Book Set
Item# 1870      $ 89.70

Expand working vocabulary using a semantic approach.  Students get in-depth practice with word relationships in six essential skill areas.

ANyone use these for their child who struggles with vocabulary. My daughter has used Vocabulary Workshop but it is pretty hard for her still.

Not here.  But it looks interesting.  Mainly we are just doing a lot of read alouds and discussing the vocabulary right now.  Not necessarily the most effective but at least vocab is improving and it gets done.  The on-line Wordly Wise worked here as long as I was sitting next to them through each lesson and prepped with flash cards, discussion, etc.  but DD started getting really frustrated that I had to sit with her and help her through so much so it wasn't getting done consistently.  Still looking for other options upon occasion....

I am finding that the samples pages on a lot of these Spotlight on Grammar, Figurative Speaking ---really breaks the process down step by step for my child. It really spells it out.. Too much for my normal ed child but for my learning challenged child-PERFECT.
I am going to order it and place Vocab Workshop on hold for now/
